Yeah, yeah, yeah. I like tomahawks. Even playing “Cowboys and Indians”, I loved being the Indian with a tomahawk, reinforced by movies such as Last of the Mohicans and the Patriot. And who couldn’t love the concept of the Viet Nam tomahawk (VTAC) and the original designer/training Peter LaGana? Moving into my military career, what self-respecting warrior wouldn’t keep a tomahawk, err “breaching tool” nearby?
As my affinity for most sharp things, especially tomahawks, has continued to evolve, I’ve found some really niche versions. Winged Wearables is once such maker of modern version of original tomahawks. Who wouldn't want to EDC IWB a spiked tomahawk?
Yeah, I know, tomahawks are not nearly as efficient as a purpose built axe, and they're not really modern weapons for combat, but damnit, they're such a cool part of our history which has been blown up to make modern "tactical tomahawks". Who doesn't like a beautiful historically accurate tomahawk or even modern RMJ Eagle or Shrike hawk? Any hawk-lovers out there? Whatcha got?
