I slept in, little grandboys wore out PaPa tricker treating last night. Looks like a great morning to be in the woods with cold temps and very little wind.
No deer and heard very few shots. I think they fed all night. The area I hunted this morning is loaded with acorns.
got settled in about 6:30, i had deer around me from daybreak until 9:30 lots a Does and small bucks, one nice three year old eight point.
Well...... I have 2 rubs less than 50yds from each other. Been looking to get him for a week now. Got in stand at 6:15. At 8;00 on the dot my neighbor who couldn't have been 200yds away shot my deer. 
Due to moon and deer movement on my way to the club I sat til 1130ish, no deer harvested or observed. Congrats to those who got one and best of luck to those still out chasin.
Where's the meat??.......
