Nov 1st hunt

First day in the woods this season. Sitting in a thick stand of oaks with my bow. Freezer is looking pretty empty so anything other than a fawn that's dumb enough to get in bow range is getting an arrow flung at it.
Go figure, no sooner than I post that, I look up and see this little guy sneaking through the woods.
8 pt, 7pt, spike, 6 mommas and babies and a dozen turkeys. The bucks weren't interested in the does.
He would be on the ground in Meriwether.
Never saw anything other than the fox and a very confused squirrel that ran up a tree 6 feet away from mine. Heard something moving around in the woods just before dark, but never put eyes on it.
He would be on the ground on some of the other properties around me too. Hoping he makes it to next year...
