I think the people insulting others because they don't agree with others pricing is the most childish behavior. They need a "time out" and a spanking.
I wonder if they behave this way in public, or is it just because they want to be an internet tough guy.

I do have the social skills to communicate with friends/acquaintances that I think they are selling at a good deal and they have my support, its what GLWS used to mean before it became a backhanded insult.

at shows, I dont delay a second to tell a vendor or a walker that their pricing is over retail. Im such a tough guy. /flex. (blue is the sarcasm color right?)
but then im from the Brutally Honest school of "Like me for me, not because im PC", and im totally fine with people not liking me. I want to hang out with like minded people, and if we are dishonest, how in the world can we know if we are like minded?
I understand, dont disturb the herd, and dont pick fights. for the site, its about maximum readership, which negativity does not encourage.
This thread is not about negativity, but about how to go back to portraying positive support without the confusion of the sarcastic and creative negativity that has spawned from repression.
I would love to see rating changed to a MUCH more VISIBLE system. Would be Honest positive and negative, while being very simple.
I think this is why I prefer trading anymore to selling. With all the price craziness, I can't tell if my price is good or bad. I USED to look at other ads to gauge what to price mine at but now I have to look at 3-4 other sites try to get an average. Anyone that has bought from me knows that I always add extra stuff in if I have it. Extra mag or ammo or something. Usually because I'm not trying to make money, just trying to get into something I want more and hoping that maybe I meet a new friend in the process.
Reading through all these threads has me thinking or at least trying to rethink what I'm doing.
There are things I still don't understand like offering something for sale and then offering it for trade at a higher value. If it's worth 800 then it's worth 800. At least that makes sense to me. *shrug*
I feel sorry for the powers that be here. Seems like they are getting a lot of flack lately and I hope that it doesn't wear them to the point of saying, "Hell with this." or anything. If I've met you and dealt with you, I hope to deal with you again. If I haven't, maybe we'll meet down the road.

you mean like the people that complain to the clerk at the gas station about the price of gas? how about food pricing. complaining about prices is capitalism.
These are the same people that see nothing wrong with selling a $1.29 bag of ice to victims of a natural disaster for $10.00, sorry that is not capitalism, that is a SCUMBAG.
