Just watched this with the fam. Overall, I like it. Good character development, interesting story line and not reliant on heavy CG action/explosions. I would like to have seen it be made in to two movies with the "discovery" ending the first and the second consisting of the results of the discovery.

I'm not a Tom Cruise fan but I think he fit this role.

Note: like most SciFi TC movies. His name is Jack.

I loved it, not a fan of him lately but it was pretty good. Saw it in imax.
