ODT Gun Show & Swap Meet - May 6, 2023 - Cobb County Civic Center

I was the B5 guy, had the Zel-Custom in .416 Barrett. It's still available, by the way, (hint hint)...and I'm off work this week (hint hint to everyone who didn't have enough cash today).

palmettomoon palmettomoon , don't discount your help with the lady in need, you were on the scene like lightning.

That was, without a doubt, probably the best "show" I've ever been to. Thanks to Okuma Okuma et. al for setting it up. Thanks to everyone who came by, whether we made a deal or not. God Bless
Did your Beretta ever sell?

Snagged this in the parking lot before the show. Smallest reasonable carry gun I’ve ever seen.

I bought a .45 cal Hawken BP rifle with double-set triggers and a purse (lol) from a nice guy at table T8, but I neglected to get your screen name to give you some feedback. My apologies sir.

If you see this please shoot me a message…,and thanks again!

There was a guy upstairs to the left of the entrance selling some nice black powder items. You had a leather possibles bag with powder horn on the right side of your table that I wish I would have bought. I’d still buy it if you still have it….

We were so busy throughout the show that I never really had a good chance to see all the other tables. I now seen, from the pictures, that I missed out on a lot of really neat stuff. We just passed through the upstairs on our way out. It was all we could do to wend through the crowd pulling the wagon. I am pretty sure that next year we will forego having a table and just come with an empty wagon to shop with.

Saw so many great people and a lot of "strangers" that show up every time. I saw the same 4 guys at the Tru-prep swap meet, maybe last year and they always write funny names on their badges. They are a hoot to talk to and I would hope they would post more.

We missed having the taco truck but brought home made chicken sandwiches so we were well fed.

We were joined at our table by my Son-in-law Jeff, who is active duty Navy. He and my daughter and two grandkids were up for the weekend from Jacksonville and he came by the show to shop and joined in and probably sold more than I did. It was a great bonding experience too.

Thanks to everyone that put in all the hours prepping for this thing and from my point of view it went off seamlessly. Can't wait for next year (or it could easily become a twice a year event, hint, hint).

Jeff seems like a great guy we enjoyed meeting him
