He wasn’t that sick. Just not so healthy, with heart problems, etc. Last year he had pneumonia and some heart procedures…

Recently retired from the army where he served 20 years after doing his initial 4 in the Corps. Known him since we went to high school together. He was my friend. Keep his family in your prayers.

And agreed, if you are having those thoughts, take that last moment and talk it through. I have been on the other side as a shoulder many times for someone going through it.
