I sold platinum bullion to a local jewelry shop that does custom work and repairs. I think they gave me 80 or 85% of spot.
That was fair to me because I had sat on it until it's value more than doubled.
Some fractional coins I had took a while to find a collector willing to pay spot and broke even.

I got 120% of spot on my ounce. I think it takes the right person to buy it.
