I use this as a layer of protection. Usually a silver bar will be off in weight if it's fake and pocket scales are cheap. I've been buying for 25 years on and off and have only run up on one piece that was not genuine.

At this time nothing. I was a dealer in a past life during a past run up. That was my experience. So, if the price continues to go up, you should try to sell to other stackers rather than off loading to dealers who are going to hedge on the price they are willing to pay, just in a case of a down turn.
