Can someone help me and point me in some type of direction in figuring out what an old Bayonet is worth? Best I can tell its a M1891 Mauser Argentine Bayonet that is in very very good shape. I have found similar ones on Ebay under the sold tab but its the only place. I think it worth a couple hundred bucks, but I am out of my league with this thing. Thanks Yall.

I have one similar to it but yours is in way better shape. I think the brass scales had something to do with branch distinction (navy or cavalry perhaps?) My bayonet is the standard with aluminum scales. Sorry I can't be the greatest help buy maybe this can put you down the right research path.

She’s definitely an early production bayonet to fit the 1891 Argentine mauser. They used brass to make the grips weigh less than steel grips. This was done for a little while until they could buy enough aluminum to make them. Value is 150-250 and yours is very nice. Sadly the demand for the older bayonets continues to decrease

I appreciate the info, atleast gives me a place to start.
