My cocker spaniel died of cancer a month ago she was the most loving dog I've ever had.. And I started looking for another one ...I don't want a puppy a dog a few years old is fine ... holy crap people have loss there minds rehoming fee of 3...4..5..6 hundred dollars for old dogs and mutts ....maybe I'm old and out touch aren't old unwanted dogs near free...
... Are people stealing dogs from other states and listing them on Craigslist and pet adoption websites making a living off the theft of pets... it's a little weird when a 6 year old dog is $400.or more ... who pays that much for a old dog...OK beat me up and tell me I'm a dope and I'm wrong

Best dogs I have ever have come from the pound or showed up at my house. Found one at the dumpsters starving. Sure do miss ole Earl.

I went to dump my garbage one rainy winter day and there was the most skinny dog I had ever seen, looking for food. I went to the nearby store and bought some dry food and took it back and poured some out onto a flat paper sack. He was gobbling it up so fast, some fell off the paper onto the ground and then he started eating dirt and all. I carried him home and named him Earl. One fine friend he was. That is his likeness above.

Finlay was 10 months old when I took him from an animal hoarder, they couldn't get rid of him fast enough and he was FREE! He'll be nine years old in Dec., an Australian Shepherd/Boxer mix and he's the sweetest most loving dog I've ever had and I've had some great dogs and I've never had to pay for a dog, they were either rescued or pups from dogs we rescued. I mean just look at that face. lol!
