Old dogs big money

My cocker spaniel died of cancer a month ago she was the most loving dog I've ever had.. And I started looking for another one ...I don't want a puppy a dog a few years old is fine ... holy crap people have loss there minds rehoming fee of 3...4..5..6 hundred dollars for old dogs and mutts ....maybe I'm old and out touch aren't old unwanted dogs near free...
... Are people stealing dogs from other states and listing them on Craigslist and pet adoption websites making a living off the theft of pets... it's a little weird when a 6 year old dog is $400.or more ... who pays that much for a old dog...OK beat me up and tell me I'm a dope and I'm wrong
Glock dogs!

I think the Gwinnett Shelter was giving dogs away a week or so ago....free. All shots, healthy, microchipped. Give them a call.;

Our pup is a rescue dog and is a great companion, loyal and an excellent watch dog....nothing gets within 50 feet of the house without an alert. Mutt, but has some terrier and Chow stirred in there somewhere.

WIFE JUST HAD TO HAVE HER LITTLE CHIHUAHUA PUT TO SLEEP AND LIKED TO KILLED HER ! MOPED AROUND CRYING AND DIDNT WANT ANOTHER ONE ! I FOUND ONE WITH PICTURES AT A RESCUE HOUSE IN SC THAT WAS HOUSE BROKE CHIPPED FIXED AND ALL SHOTS UP TO DATE. SHE LOOKED AT PICTURES AND AFTER ABOUT TWO DAYS CALLED LADY AND WE WENT MET HER AND PICKED HIM UP AND GAVE HER $65 DOLLARS AND GOT TAX DEDUCTABLE PAPER AS WELL . HAD HIM SINCE THURSDAY AND SHE IS TICKLED TO DEATH AS HES BUDDYED UP WITH HER LIKE LAST ONE. YOU GET ATTACHED TWO THEM AND THEY ARE PART OF FAMILY. SOORY TO HEAR YOUR LOSS !

either go through the local pound for Heinz 57 or if you want a specific breed go through the AKC. Every breed has a national organization, and nearly every national organization has a rescue operation. Often there is a local breed club, and it will have a rescue organization.

We didn't want to deal with a puppy so we went through the local breed rescue and got two really great dogs.

BTW general note lf you are interested in a hunting breed, you would be surprised how many highly trained dogs are given up for adoption due to death, divorce, change of job and so on.

Finlay was 10 months old when I took him from an animal hoarder, they couldn't get rid of him fast enough and he was FREE! He'll be nine years old in Dec., an Australian Shepherd/Boxer mix and he's the sweetest most loving dog I've ever had and I've had some great dogs and I've never had to pay for a dog, they were either rescued or pups from dogs we rescued. I mean just look at that face. lol!

Glad all these dogs got a good home

Please visit the animal shelters. They keep animals for two weeks and if they haven't found a home, they go to the kennel in the sky.

I don't know about here, but in California, if you tell them it was your pet, when you drop it off at the animal shelter. It is not eligible for adoption. They will euthanize it immediately, the shelter finds homes for lost animals.

you're not supposed to sell dogs on craigslist so they get away
with it by charging an exorbitant rehoming fee. slick way of
being a ****** human synonymous with internet aholes

Raider has been gone for over 10 years, but he was by far the best dog I ever owned. I've only cried as an adult a very few times, but I lost it when he died in my arms at the vet. Got him when he was a year and a half old from the Atlanta Humane Society. We were best friends for over a decade.
