Grandfather gave this to me and I'm just lookig for some info on it. I know it's and h&r 22 but that's about it.

Y prefix serial number indicates 1965 manufacture. Shoots all .22, s l lr

It has a T prefix.

it is an H&R model 999 sportsman post-war model pre war would have had the birds head frame and one piece grips like this
