Picked up very nice Mark I at gunshow Saturday. 1978 model. Complete shipper, box, instructions, 1/2 the warranty card and oil paper. 4 mags, extra sets of grips one walnut thumbrest grips and a pair of target grips.Gun could pass for new. One minor spot on edge of barrel. Mags vitually no wear.

Very nice pick up.. I am about due for something new in this category.. I have been on a Ruger kick but bolt actions at the moment.. Congratulations..

Wow.. I'll keep an eye out but in the meantime I'll just have to get this one scoped up to enjoy.

We look forward to your range report. Enjoy..
I finally got a chance to shoot the Mark III Target. Sorry, no pics (I was at my brother's and didn't have my kindle). But after a mag or so I was able to put all my shots in a three inch circle at 25 yds. Pretty good for me. I'm certain the pistol is capable of better. I did get a new holster for it today and I do have a pic of it!

What would y'all recommend to soften and help break in this holster?

Throw it in the floor, stomp on it a hundred times , twist it up like a pretzel ... peat and repeated
