Hey guys, my uncle has come to me for some help and I honestly don't know where to begin. This is an old beater 12ga that's probably not worth anything. My uncle keeps it in his house and gave it to me to get the stock fixed. Hoping to not put much money in it. $20-$40 would be great if possible. Anyone with ideas or input? Pics:

Good luck, appears to be a lot of inletting and wood work involved, use up that 20/40 pretty quick.

Looks like an old cresent arms. My dad has one that my great grandad bought back in the earl 20th Century. I don't think you would have much luck pinning it the break is way too uneven. I say glue it tape it up and hang it on the wall.

You could glue it with Titebond III. The glued joint will be stronger than the wood itself. I've tested that. The only problem will be if the wood is crap, it will just break somewhere else. I'd glue it and let it cure for twice as long as the bottle says. Then beat and abuse the stock. If it doesn't break again, you're good to go. If it does break again, sell what's left for $40 and buy another shotgun.

Thanks, I'll try that. Earlier poster seems to be correct on the Crescent Arms thing. The receiver says "Columbia" which from an internet search seems to be the same as Crescent.

If he will sell it, let me know and I'll make you an honest offer. Probably cheaper for him to buy a not that to have a stock made..
