870 shotgun furniture and Cerakote?

Picked up an older 870 last week. Wood furniture is pretty rough. I’m thinking to get some updated furniture and maybe even Cerakote the action/barrel.

Any recommendations for furniture? Love the looks of the WooX stuff but of course it’s a bit pricey. Magpul obviously makes good stuff. Anyone try both or have a preference.

Lastly was thinking of maybe cerakoting the action and barrel. Thinking bronze, DDS, FDE or something. Anyone have photo of something similar or rough idea on costs for a pump shotgun coating?

I regularly refurb police trade-in Remington 870's at TruPrep. Refinish the wood furniture, or replace. Cerakote, springs, sights, magazine tube extensions, etc.

typically I would agree but I received this one as a gift from an uncle and would like to make it a little "special". I've got plenty of other shotguns that are stock and will remain that way (Winchester 97,101, Beretta A400, Browning 12, 42. etc).
