If you pull the KAC rail off, it should have a date on it as well as the Barrel would have a date.

You've got an older Eotech set up and that magnifier is nice! The Surefire is definitely an older one.

If I took a guess, I'd say you have an early 00's Colt. You could try Colts website but the barrel will have a date.

I wouldn't consider this 14 year old Colt a "Older " Colt AR. But I'm not opposed to pictures of Colt AR.

Restricted Rollmark Colt's started in '94 and went until 2011 ish. Yes, the ban ended in '04.

The KAC rail didn't start until the late '90's. And depending on which Surefire model, could be early 90's until today..

Called Colt, they were able to confirm it is a 08/11 build date which matches the barrel and it is a 6940. They couldn't confirm production numbers though.
