One of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make.

UPDATE: Ginger is now playing with her sister Maddie in doggie Heaven. RIP sweet girl.

11 days ago I had to bury one of my 16 yr old Shorkies. (****zu/Yorkie mix). That was hard enough. Tomorrow I’m having to drive her sister to the vet so they can help her cross the rainbow bridge and see her sister. I thought I could let nature run its course but I can no longer watch her wither away. I’ve read all I can find on the subject and I’ve prayed and cried while holding her. Sometimes life just really sucks.

Sorry, for your Loss. My 1st dog, I had to put down, I cried like a baby. It is not a easy thing. 🙏

All of the hardest decisions in life require courage and compassion.

You’ve got both, my friend

Dogs give you all of their heart when they come into your life. It is only fair that they take a piece of yours with them when they go. Mourn freely and when enough time has passed there is another one out there waiting for you. I have five buried on my property and currently have five from 1 yr to 6 years old. I know that based on my age these will be the last ones that I will have now.

We are having to take our dog to vet now to be put down. He is just in so much pain and has lived - 14yrs it is time . My wife just left with him.
Those who know me know I am not in great physical condition and can’t walk and all that so instead of her having to handle me and him she just wanted to take him by herself. I think it’s the right thing to do.
God the pain of losing a friend like this is horrible but it’s part of life I think. It sux !!
