I’m just that good.

If I spent that much on a rifle I would think a 22lr would do just fine.

Of course I have a $1.00 trigger finger and discount skills so that probably would play a major factor

With a good enough gun, you don’t need skill, training OR a trigger finger. The ODT brain trust finally convinced me.

I like it! Now you are taking my language! On the down side your hunt for ammo in a different state might be tough. Until you run into one of those trading post that just carry all the new and old goodness. I would think a good outfitter in those far out places would be well stocked however, you never know. You could find 300 win mag at the mom and pops store down the road. Just making a valid point to consider when choosing. If you fly up to Alaska that could very well be a problem. The cost of ammo and everything else for that matter is outrageous but that would be a great round in game.

The way we always approached Hunt many miles from home. If you carry something that you can find any part that you may possibly need not that you will.

In the lower 48 that's ok but Alaska I am not sure that's an option. Flying with live ammo? There might be a problem with that but I don't know for sure I haven't researched it.

I flew with ammo. Just like anywhere else in the US

Where it get's difficult, but it's the rifle, is Canada. Lot's of folks will buy a rifle in Canada and just leave it due to how big a PITA it is
