open carry at Walmart AR15....

This guy just wanted his 15 seconds of YouTube fame. He is a jackass. He isn't carrying it for "self defense", there is no way he could deploy the rifle in any effective and or speedy manner. He just wanted to be a YouTube hero. If he wasn't embarrassed to be doing it he would of taken off the glasses and the hat that he probably never wears and showed his face. Idiots like him hurt "the cause" more than they ever could help it. Just because we have rights doesn't mean we should push them to the limit, a little bit if common sense would go a long ways in this country, obviously bubba here left that at home with his rear sight.

You guys need to think about this from the mindset of the 51% of America that voted Obama into office twice... :censored::frusty:

When they see some dumb ass walking through Wal-Mart with an AR-15, they do not get a warm and fuzzy feeling and think that they are safer if a robbery happens.

They think - Oh My GOD!!! Look at that guy with the assault rifle. Then they think - if this is legal, I need to vote someone into office that will make it illegal. Open carry of a long gun is extremely obvious and attracts too much attention.

They are NEVER going to get comfortable seeing this, they are just going to vote someone into office to change it QUICKER.

agreed.
as a business owner and even a gun owner..this guy would not have been long in my store.
I have already had 1 accidental discharge by a customers weapon going off and narrowly missing a womans head..it went threw 2 walls and bounced off a concrete block wall in the bathroom..
The liability issues to a business owner outweigh any gains..

No more loaded guns in my store or on my property.(except mine)

I absolutely agree.
we should not carry ANY guns in public... or else we will get someone in office to shred the bill of rights even quicker! /sarcasmfont
The private property part, I get and agree with.

It shouldn't matter if it is a 22 pocket pistol or a carbine.
the BoR makes no disctinction.

Am i the only true patriot that is gonna positively
comment on this? Yea... Hes probably the biggest redneck on that side of the hill but i am disgusted by the volume of comments bashing this video. This guy is a badass! He stayed calm, Pushed the buttons he needed too and then guided you in the right direction with legal precedence

And as mentioned above, by doing so he probably turned a lot of undecideds into confirmed anti-gunners. I admit that I open carry a lot while fishing, hiking, etc, but when in public I prefer CC. I have no respect for him. It was obviously a publicity stunt and no more.

I am a huge advocate for open carry, and really don't see this guy doing this for 'attention', as the guys who want attention usually rattle off all the normal 2nd amendment stuff and try to not comply, this guy simply complied. And in this situation, as you said, he obeyed the law and departed. And I would like to see more people OC, but I personally don't see the point in OC'ing like this guy did. If you are trying to reach people with the truth, go open carry in a public place where you can educate people on our rights, handing out fliers, booklets, etc, which can be used for education. All this guy did wass prove that the people at that store likely don't know what store policy is.

But I would say that, if more people would OC, it would be harder for the authoritarians to claim they are scary black assault guns. The less people see guns, the easier it is to convince them that they are scary.
