open carry at Walmart AR15....

We don't take issue with him carrying, just that he's doing it to make a scene.

Ok, I can see that, but take away the camera and his lack of a rear sight, would you be OK with it then?

Are you really that dense or are you just being facetious?

Congrats on keeping up your long held tradition of adding nothing except unwarranted personal negativity .

Either a fool, or a democrat with a plan. Somebody could have split his skull with a bat in the sporting goods department and taken the rifle with ease. Just because you can, doesn't mean an intelligent person would. That goes for the guys in the restaurants OC'ing with their guns hanging out ripe for the grab.

See and this is the very reason no one should be allowed to carry a loaded gun.

its just too easy to spot and too easy to disarm

Only way to be safe is to lock the gun up.. disassembled of course, seperate from the ammunition.

Exactly how many undecideds do you really think are out there now? He didn't change anyone's mind about firearms one bit. If we use the logic of "it might turn someone off" to see an open carry, then you concealed carry folks should stop carrying "JUST IN CASE" someone sees yours print or accidentally get exposed. Don't alarm the masses, that's BAD!!!! Never in the history of the USA have people walked around open carrying before...

Bunch of 2A Politically Correct Princesses here.

How am I being politically correct by saying Walmart has private property rights and has been a friend to the gun loving community.

How am I being politically correct by pointing out this jackass doesn't even have a rear sight?

How am I being politically correct by saying even a gun store would ask him to remove the mag?

You aren't being PC for the private property rights
You aren't being PC for the rear sight
You aren't being PC for removing the mag (still a round in the chamber though)
You aren't being PC for saying he's a (supply your own adjective/expletive) too

PC is saying someone should stop doing something that's legal because it might offend/turn off/upset others who have no clue what the difference is between a right, a privilege or an entitlement.

To recap this thread, walk around with an AR, AK, semi auto SAW, de-activated RPG, whatever, out in the open, and as long as it's in a legal area, that is your right. In addition, do the preceding act with a camera crew behind you and a Perry Mason attitude, don't be surprised when you get criticized for it. You won't find a more die-hard 2A supporter than me, but have a little common sense and pick your battles.

So.. just because I want to see the world burn and I have an extra large bag of Marshmallows

How many of you would walk past this sign while CCW

arent you also "Violating their private property rights?"
