Just because you can, doesn't mean an intelligent person would. That goes for the guys in the restaurants OC'ing with their guns hanging out ripe for the grab.

Exactly how many undecideds do you really think are out there now? He didn't change anyone's mind about firearms one bit. If we use the logic of "it might turn someone off" to see an open carry, then you concealed carry folks should stop carrying "JUST IN CASE" someone sees yours print or accidentally get exposed. Don't alarm the masses, that's BAD!!!! Never in the history of the USA have people walked around open carrying before...

I know someone that does this. As soon as they get home, they disassemble the gun and lock it in the safe. I don't know where they store the ammo, but they do keep the gun locked up, completely disassembled.

To recap this thread, walk around with an AR, AK, semi auto SAW, de-activated RPG, whatever, out in the open, and as long as it's in a legal area, that is your right. In addition, do the preceding act with a camera crew behind you and a Perry Mason attitude, don't be surprised when you get criticized for it.
