Open to alternate options - cleaning stainless

I have all the following, so other than an Ultra sonic, Birchwood Casey/Shooters Choice or commercial cleaning rags or the proverbial #2 pencil erasure. Are there other options to remove heavy buildup on stainless guns. Not worried about Blued metal, I'm aware of those concerns with Stainless cleaning cloths. I believe there was a similar thread on here once before, but I couldn't locate it.

what kind of stainless gun? for me any kind of surface finish work becomes a rabbit hole as I always find myself going over factory low spots

A very fine Scotchbrite and gun oil. Avoid steel wool on stainless or you'll end up with rust.
