I've never played with the S&W 15-22. See if you can slowly let the bolt go forward and see if the ejector does not reposition itself. Rimfire rifles are usually simplistic in design that's why they run forever. Unless you snagged the extractor with the bore snake! 🤣🤣🤣 Just kidding around with you, I couldn't resist. You may just need to take it down and see if it is bent over broken. After watching a quick video that's definitely not normal. Just depress the rear takedown pin then let the upper raise up and separate from the lower a little bit. Then remove the charging handle and bolt the same time. It looks like he left his thumb on the back of the bolt so something wouldn't fly out. Then you should be able to have easy access to that part. Easy fix!
