13 year old with a Bushmaster 308 meets a 6 pointer. 100yd neck shot. Gun = 1000, Scope = 250, trigger = 175, Smile on my sons face pricless
Very nice deer, congrats to the young man, I can't wait till my son gets his first, he's only nine and not very patient. haha
well that's not totally striking out, when we go to s.c. to hunt and the deer don't cooperate, that's exactly what we do is fish, theirs always a bass or two to bring home if no deer
I hunted Thursday-sunday. Spooked a buck walking in, but he had it in high gear like he had a pack of walkers behind him. He was the only deer we saw while hunting. My brother was with my daughter and I, he was always atleast within a hundred yards of us and he saw a total of 11 deer. The only o e he could have shot was a doe that had a fawn with her so he let her walk. The rest were to far or just across the property line.
I got a 5x5 Elk in the highlands of Colorado last Wednesday, before field dressing I'm guessing he was around 800 pounds give or take.
