I struck out on opening day and everday thereafter. My wife on the other hand is having a good season so far. On opening day she got her first deer ever, a button buck and then on Monday she added a nice nanny to the freezer supply. I am getting a lot of practice in cleaning critters.

Someone needs to inform the young man with the AR10 to set the rifle down facing away from anyone main himself. I see the mag is still in the rifle. But way to go. I saw two does but no shot available.

I got to do inventory for 12 hours both Sat and Sun after a long week. Gotta love the timing Got a buck a week later to put some meat in the freezer.

Opening day (10/20) got a 115 lb spike (meat deer). Three days later got a 155 lb (field dressed) 8 pt buck.

I echo the thoughts about the young man. Congrats on the deer. Please remember firearms safety!!
