Opening Morning Check In!

We built a ground bling next to a big, blowdown Oak in the funnel that we are hunting.
Just before dark, a little doe came to within about 3 yards of us. My Son let her walk.
He was sooo pumped up about that encounter and talked about how close she got to us the whole entire ride home!
I consider that a successful evening!

Down in a creek bottom tonight. No see ums and skeeters are trying to take my soul. I might finally break down and get a thermacell.

Got drawn for Ossabaw Island several years ago and kept two running the whole week. Without my Thermacell’s that trip would have been miserable.
