Opinions needed - Buying a new cooler

OP states he works out of his truck on job sites. What is there to be baffled about.
What does he have the need for a cooler for? I know plenty of guys that work out of their truck. None of them have a cooler in the back to keep ice for a week. I just don't see what he'd use it for.

Most every contractor I know does, it's not just for personal beverages its for the whole crew or whoever on the job site that might be thirsty.

In case of shtf, you know, live out of your truck with just an ice chest full of beer and steaks. Always be prepared.....

I've started to post this twice and decided not to.....but here I am on round three. I guess I just don't understand the OP's need.

In my world, a cooler is for camping, fishing, or hunting. I guess I just don't understand why someone would need a cooler in their truck for an entire week as part of a job.
I have a cooler in my truck all the time

Keep water and Gatorade in it
And in always the hero at jobsites cause I have cold drinks in August

A lot of my sites are miles and miles from the nearest place you can get any food or drinks
And I never know how long I'm gonna be there , might be two hours. Might be till midnight

I also have different coolers for my water samples on their way to a Lab

Weird how most coolers don't have any insulation in the lid
