Opinions needed - Buying a new cooler

That's funny Laufen I actually own an older Koolatron and it's great. I use it for road trips and both my vehicles have a 12v connector in the back to plug it in. Now it'll kill your battery if you leave it plugged in overnight, but we usually just bring it into the hotel room and use the AC plug.

It's a good machine! It'll do warm or cold, so when I'm transporting the turkey to my daughters for Thanksgiving I just turn the plug around and when I get there it's still warm.

There's a use for that silly thing and since there's no ice at all it seems huge....

That thing will kill your battery in about three hours
Those are great if you have a separate battery and isolator

I still have the first Koolatron that came out in 1990 or so
But you have to pre cool everything and you have to have a separate battery and isolator or you're gonna be begging a jump start

Most every contractor I know does, it's not just for personal beverages its for the whole crew or whoever on the job site that might be thirsty.
I guess you know a bunch of booshie contractors. All the ones I know have a 5 gallon water cooler strapped to a ladder rack.

I don't know what them being hairy has to do with anything but yeah believe it or not it's pretty common practice for someone on a job site to have a large cooler full of drinks.
