Opinions on deer decoys?

Whaddya y'all think? Do they work? What's the best way of using them?

They work best on public land, just carry them in about sunup and find a good spot.........

Better keep it in a big orange bag and then hope you can get it setup and clear before someone shoots it

You should hear the DNR stories about "Timex" their motorized deer decoy they set up near roads to catch poachers. LOL!

I have. Brother-in-laws brother was a game warden and I couldn't believe some of the stories he used to tell.

I've used one of the flat 2D ones of a small buck during early season; but never taken anything because of it. I wish I had a video of the 4 pointer trying to challenge it to a fight. I carried mine is a large blaze orange mesh bag for safety. Just be VERY CAREFUL if you are not hunting private land. A lot of ground checkers out there.
