The sylvan arms is billet aluminum, the law one is hardened steel. So no, its not just as good. In fact its decidedly NOT as good in basically every aspect. In particular, the latch is weak and prone to breaking and/or failure to latch. IIRC there were also some issues with the bolt retaining mechanism. Maybe some of this was addressed in gen 3, but at the end of the day, its still aluminum and its still going to wear out quickly.

Agree with you for the Sylvan Arms Gen 1 and Gen 2. That is why I found the updated Gen 3 review which addressed those issues (other than steel vs. aluminum of course). Mine will never see extensive use to quantify/qualify the differences. Having a couple of small, folded "pistols", ready to grab and go along with extra loaded mags, was my goal.
Interesting. I placed an order for a scope on Monday. I haven’t received any info on shipping as of right now. My bank account showed a pending charge, but it’s now no longer pending or pulled from my account. I went to their website and it’s still showing as processing/not canceled. No emails about canceling the order. Website still show item in stock. Kind of annoying. I emailed them yesterday and I’ve got no response yet.

I bit the bullet and ordered a law tactical folder the other day from optics planet. Hurt to spend that much on something so small but I've wanted one for so long I just couldnnot order. Can't wait to get it.

But I still find them among the best on all counts.
My last order took a couple extra days, but part of that was on FedEx.
Yep, that is what the feedback said for Gen 1 and Gen 2... I can only hope that Gen 3 takes care of that issue too.
