OPTICS PLANET SUCKS

I felt that way when I received my Sig Minimalist Folding Stock from Optics Planet. I thought, "Wow! Who even knew I needed this for my Brownell's AR180?" LOL!

I ordered vortex binoculars at a dirt cheap price if 129 on November 1st. My order is still processing. I’ve emAiled multiple times and one response from an actual person said they refunded the original price and applied a discount. I have no clue what that brought it down to and no response back yet from a human. I’ve had orders in the past that were fine from them. I’m trying to be very patient to not mark them off my list but it sure would be nice to use them before hunting season is over

it posted to my account and they took another 10% off to bring it down to 125 shipped. I believe I’d rather pay a few extra and have had it here a couple of weeks ago
 
Well I was reinvigorated this morning from this post and sent an email stating my frustration since the item still says in stock and ships in 1-7 days. Next thing I know I got an email saying it is in route with a tracking number. Thanks OP!
 
I order a magazine that they had and still have in stock. That was 2 full weeks ago, and it still has NOT shipped. I don't mean that I haven't received it. I mean it hasn't even left their facility.

How hard would it be to go into their business and make HUGE improvements on their shipping side? They are the worst I have ever seen. It's like their level of know-how in this area is nonexistent.

I was browsing the Lee Precision website last night. They have a note on their home page that they currently have a 119 day order backlog on distributor orders, along with commentary about how they have hired more staff, office staff have been redeployed to shipping operations, folks working overtime, etc.

I'm sure it's a challenge.

I placed an order on 12/11/2020, all items were in stock 1-7 days, finally got the order on 1/28/2021, did the online chat every day starting on 12/20/2020, ended up with 30% off the order. The kicker was I placed two more orders and got both of them before the first order.
 
I dont get it...there is a huge run on gun stuff. And there is a pandemic going on.

Geez...dont get your order processed in a day and people get amped up. I think you definately should order elsewhere to find...hey...it's the same thing else where.
 
Placed an order for something I thought was in stock weeks ago (didn't say anything about a delay then). Supposed to have shipped already, but still says "processing". Disappointed with them.....
 
I have been doing business with them for well over 7 years and have never had one issue. Prices are more than competitive, orders arrive quick and are correct and any issues I have had were resolved very quickly. You must have just hit someone having a bad day and botched the order up. I am sure it was just a stupid mistake that's complicated to correct because most of the time they are spot on. I couldn't even begin to count the number of items I have purchased from them. Everything from scopes, stocks, flash suppressors and a host of other gun parts and accessories.
I love them too. They have been backordered on many items. People are just pissed that everything is backordered and delayed, which is not OpticsPlanet's fault.
