Options for finish

Have this little airweight 38-2 that I’d like to fix the finish on.
I assume the frame is aluminum? The barrel and cylinder both steel.
So what product would i get the best results from as I’d like to strip and reblue or blacken it. Preferably something not to difficult for a beginner to get right first time around.

Aluminum can be tough. Do some interweb research before you begin. You will need to completely dismantle the gun to do it right.

Yea actually have that kit up in the sales. But noticed they also make a different one for aluminum. I’ll have to research and hopefully find example pics to compare options.

Yea I definitely want to do a professional job of it. Any good gunsmithing or finishing sites out there for similar projects you’d recommend?

Ceracote is definitely an option for this gun. Fat Albert knows a guy.............
