I disagree. The more you practice without hearing protection the better your hearing will adjust to it and it will no longer be necessary.

I have tennitus so bad in my left ear, it surprises me other people can't hear it.. They say constant low frequency sound can drive you insane..lol
Why buy earplugs when you can buy thousands of dollars worth of suppressors!
X2- wonder if anyone went postal from tinitus driving them nuts. Or telling them to do bad things in a subliminal way? Ive had for long time myself. getting harder to hear folks in certain situations
Tennitus can be a symptom of hypertension. Check your BP when it is occurring. If it is not BP it is probably from playing with the volume on #11. In that case, just play it louder.
