Overview of six red dot sights

A Blackberry? Really?
BB messenger and Mail are the two most reliable (and fastest) products in those categories I've used to date and that was 10 years ago. Not to mention the fact that productivity of employees went in the crapper from the swap to iPhone/Android due to all the non-work related apps. From a no frills get-it-done standpoint the BB was king. Kinda like irons.

I'm just giving you a hard time. And your right about smash phones. All of my employees are far less productive with them.

I have two RM06 second generation sights and could not be more pleased.....

@MAC Defense

Will is a member on here. They are about as fairly priced as I've seen and seem to have reasonable lead times on the work. They've got one of mine right now. He does respond to email also. Many shops won't even get back to you.

Will @MAC Defense is the man to go to local. He just did an optic cut on my G23 and I picked up the newest version of the Holosun 507c V2 green dot. Y'all check him out, he's a stand up guy and does great quality work. I'll definitely be going back to him for framework and slide work in the near future.

Agreed. He did my G45 and added the Holosun 508T (his price on the 508T was $20 cheaper than anywhere online). Looks perfect and has been solid after 500+ rounds in less than 2 weeks. Zero complaints on my end.

I’ve shot both, but prefer irons. I was more accurate with a RDS if I took the extra split second to get full sight picture. But I was faster with irons and had higher scores. It just takes practice I know, but meh, I prefer irons.

Please remember to research dot size too.
I almost screwed up with a 3.25 Trijicon RMR.
It was just too hard to see when running and gunning, the 6.5 worked for me, fortunately I was able to try 3 different sizes before I made a purchase.

It takes lots of practice to get just as fast as irons to the first shot, in my experience.
Yes accuracy goes way up.
When shooting at something like a plate rack, you shoot, the muzzle comes up, the dot disappears at the top of the screen, the muzzle drops, then you need to reacquire the dot and put it on the next plate.
With a good firm grip, it is possible to keep the dot in the window through the recoil, again it just took practice.

Im about to have this guy for lunch:

Yup. Now let me spend some time with it first and see if I like it or not.

Ive also been running an iron sight version as well, so it'll good be to test the performance of both side by side. Seeing the dot shake bothers me, but hopefully I can get used to it.
