I’m wanting to by a small day pack for my wife. Will a regular pack not specifically made for a woman adjust to fit? Particularly the chest area? My pack isn’t anywhere close to her size so it would be hard to tell. What’s everyone else’s experience with this?

I got my wife a Osprey Daylight Plus for bumming around. She has been pretty happy with it, my next pack will probably be an Osprey of some sort. Its a solid pc of kit for sure.

not sure where you live but this place is local to me in Forsyth Ga. (monroe county)

If there's going to be a medium to heavy amount of weight in this pack (such as a couple of quarts of water)
you may want to consider whether it has an across the chest strap to hold the two shoulder straps at the correct spacing,
and where will that connecting strap go on a woman's body .
This can be more of a delicate issue for them than for a man.
