Password generators and manager

I am not a tech savvy person, but I do ok with computers. I just started researching password generators and managers. Any opinions about them? Any body use 'dashlane'? thanks

Be careful. Some of the 'freeware' versions of those are just harvesting your passwords to send them to someone else.

i used to use them all the time. but i also had to do 10x as many virus removals as ever before or since. now that my time is worth money, i don't bother using them key gens and such things. and txboy is right, a good bit of them pose as legit programs just to steal ur info

I've been using PassKeeper for years. Helps me keep up with everything. I just store it on a thumb drive.
