The Paulding County Sheriff's Office is hosting a free Public Handgun Clinic for Paulding County residents and business owners on Saturday March 2, 2013 from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm. The course will be held at the Paulding County Sheriff's Office Training Facility. This is a program that we plan to do every quarter. Space in this class will be limited to the first 20 participants that register and pass a background check. If you do not get into this class, there will be many opportunities in the future to attend.
The class will highlight the following:
-Handgun Safety
-Proper Shooting Techniques
-How the Weapon Functions
-Cleaning and Maintenance of Your Weapon
-Georgia Firearm Laws
Requirements for the class are as follows:
-No Felony Convictions
-No Misdemeanor Convictions of Domestic Violence
-Background Check (free of charge for this class only)
-Must be 18 Years of Age or Older
-Must provide your own weapon and ammunition (ammuntion will not be for sale at the facility, please bring your own)

-Come to the Paulding County Sheriff's Office at 247 Industrial Way North Dallas, GA 30132 to obtain your registration packet and have your background check performed.
