Eh. Somewhat misleading. First off not all PSA barrels and components are the same quality. The cheapest “on sale” ones usually have phosphate barrels not nitride or chrome lined options. They also come with the most basic furniture, no rear sight, cheapest bolt and no optics. PLUS tax, shipping and your local FFL’s transfer fee.
Just a slight upgrade in barrel and furniture, the addition of a budget optic and the inherit built-in expenses of tax, shipping & transfer fee easily gets you a $700 rifle.
Must compare apples to apples.

My AR was collecting dust, I was happy to trade it a while back while the getting was good. This site has always been loaded with em but it’s getting to the point now where the are kinda worthless. Especially the higher end ones that people paid 1500 to 2k for. I imagine they way upside down now and will never see that money again. It’s kinda silly really cause these days the gun shows are loaded with em, and when I was a kid nobody really cared about them. There used to be one or two folks selling military type rifles and everyone else was selling hunting firearms. Now it’s the opposite and everyone is loaded with tactical stuff that nobody wants and a browning is harder to get go figure 😂🤣😂

Back in Y2K at a gun show I saw someone pay $3500 for a Colt A3. I asked the dealer how he slept at night. It was a really nice rifle, but.....
