- And cut your grass.
If he had a manual transmission, that'd have a different meaning. But did you stick the landing?
not from my end. He does get blamed for lots of stuff though. Is there a perception that Trump is a snake in the grass ?
That's just the leftnot from my end. He does get blamed for lots of stuff though.
Wow! Glad you and your wife were both ok. She was your guardian angel for sure!I walked to where I park my car to get something. I park in the grass. It needed cutting and I thought to myself "I couldn't see a snake if there was one", so I backed my car out onto the driveway to cut the grass. Still thinking about snakes, I stepped out of the car onto the driveway and felt something soft as I put my foot down. Naturally, still thinking about snakes, my mind immediately said - SNAKE!!! Next thing I know, I'm in the passenger seat wondering how I got there and what I had actually put my foot on. So I slid back across the console and looked out the driver's side window down at the driveway.....
Then I was thinking, "WOW! I really have a vivid imagination!"
But it wasn't my imagination - Yep, copperhead.
Thank the LORD!, and my wife Kim. Why Kim? She had left an hour or so earlier and undoubtedly run over the snakes head, because it was dead and it's head was crushed was all that was damaged on it (Genesis 3:15 comes to mind). So I poked the copperhead with a stick - He's angry!!! (if you know, you know), to make sure it was dead and scooped it up. It wasn't stiff and still had fresh blood running out of it's mouth. See pics.
A snake WASN'T where I thought it COULD be. The snake WAS where I didn't think it WOULD be.
Perception is reality.
However, as in this case, MY perception didn't reflect actual reality.
Our perception is a product of our life experiences, it's how we see the world today because of the life we lived to get to this point.
Moral of the story:
Regardless of our perception, we may not always be right.
Always look before you step. Always consider before you act.
And yes, this IS a true story.
