Anyone noticed trees holding on to there fruit an exceptionally long time this year? I know a couple that dropped a little in September, yet are still loaded and not dropping anymore.

Me too. It predicts a rough winter. Cut a few seeds and they predicted the same.
I've seen the same thing in Cobb. We have two persimmon trees. One dropped em all, early. The other is 50 feet away and is still loaded. All the leaves have fallen off but even the winds haven't knocked em down. I bet a big stick will do the job.
