I picked up some at the Winder store this afternoon. They still had quite a few on the shelf. At that price I may get some more to stockpile.

You guys seriously replace bulbs BEFORE they burn out? What are you doing with the bulbs you pull out?

I haven't replaced any yet. I tried one out in a lamp and was very pleased at the very similar light radiating pattern. That's been the biggest gripe I've had, LED's tend to hot spot, these radiate very smoothly.

Keep them. You can flip them to people like me, who need incandescent bulbs to keep poultry warm. I replaced all incandescent bulbs with LEDs and put them away for future use.

I built myself an egg incubator a few years ago that uses 2 incandesent bulbs as the heat source.

Put mine in the boxes that LEDs came in. I'll use them in winter in the barn, for heat.
