These were yesterday. The red shouldered hawk is the female of a pair that must nest nearby somewhere. Sometimes they show up and sometimes they don't for weeks. She came in from the top of a large pine tree. She grabbed what she wanted and took off. Very kool to see them and hear them calling to each other or sitting side by side chattering. The thrasher was getting some suet to keep warm.
