When I see pickled eggs it reminds me of NAS Cubi Point in the Philippines. Our helicopter would fly off the ship when we were in port and we would park it and work on it in the transient hanger. There was a guy that that had a food cart there that sold sodas and food. He sold regular boiled eggs and boiled eggs that had been packed in salt shell on for a few days. They absorbed just the right amount of salt through the shell. Orange soda and 2 salted eggs. Delicious. It was a fart factory every morning in that hanger.

I make hot spicy pickled eggs by the gallon and eat at least 2-3 with every dinner. I only fart about 85 times a day. And maybe 25 a night.
