I hope not. I wouldnt be surprised though. I have heard lots of stories about people going through when the water is too high and knocking themselves out, needing stitches, and generally becoming a burden on the emergency response industry.

How's the fishing around the docks? Do you have to go out a little ways to catch anything decent?

We are interested in renting it is why I'm asking.

We haven’t explored the kayak fishing possibilities yet although I think they are plentiful. My kids love catching pinfish and other little fish off the dock out back. We save them and take them to the beach for cut bait. I can’t say enough good things about the place though. The house, the food, the beaches, the parks, the fishing, and the owners of this place are all absolutely fantastic. This is our second consecutive year and hurricane here and we love it. With three hurricane vacations in three years I think we are doing the mountains next year though.
