Bought an upper that is going onto an SBR lower I have. I’d like to replace the muzzle device with one that allows me to mount my suppressor. How much should I expect to pay for a pin & weld removal, and how long does it take?

So, would you want the same Gunsmith that removes the old muzzle accessory to also turn down your barrel and thread it for a suppressor or a quick-detachable adapter?
I would not assume that a company that threaded that muzzle originally intending to stick on some barrel extension or flash hider did a good enough job to allow use of a suppressor on those same threads.

It’s often cheaper/easier to buy a new barrel anymore. Especially if you trade off what you have.

Almost! TIG is kicking my ass on stuff that small.
I can do the P&W’s now, but they don’t look like I want them to look yet. When they look like D. Wilson’s work, I’ll start doing them for customers.
