Why not get a rescue?
My last was a pound puppy. A pit and boxer mix. She was awesome.
You can actually put your name on a list at shelter's for a specific type of puppy. (pit or pit mix, etc). When they come in, they'll call you. Don't get your dog tomorrow, but you get what you want from a shelter
Definitely rescue! The pounds are over crowded. You can literally pick and choose exactly what you want most of the time!
Looking for a dog that I can breed with my male and most dogs or cats from the pound are sick know a couple of people that has got dogs from the pound and they died. And I want a puppy to raise not a dog that is 4 or 5 years old
Lots of puppies there also! Got my pittie from the rescue.
lots of rescues get puppies, I got my boxer Lab mix from a rescue in Conyers and she always gets pit puppies. she never gets adults
