That what it looks like when my sister tries to get one of her 16 cats adopted.
My dear departed Nox (Luminox, all black cat with bright green eyes) was like that on the leash. We tried to put him on the leash after he started harassing our original cat. Made a mistake of tying the leash to the door. He almost pulled door of its hinges, when started to flay around.
From that point, we used just the body harness. It was enough to calm him down. Nox chased stray shepards and rotties out of our yard.
I loved that cat.

In that situation, I think the last thing I would do is put the leash between my legs.

That falls under the old adage of "you mess with the bull, you get the horns". LOL...I know cats, had them all my life...and I completely saw that one coming based on the way the dude was petting Pinky...
