Please pay attention to the smoking/Cancer warnings, it took my wife yesterday

Lung Cancer took my love, my wife of 33 years Thursday and smoking was her only vice, she was as good hearted a person and giving to all as anyone could ask for, and gave me purpose for the last 33 years and now I am still being guided by her as my guardian Angel. The Lung Cancer was found by an MRI for something else and even though caught early it had made it to her lymph node system and spread like wildfire. She fought back as hard as possible, unfortunately the radiation treatments & Chemo and the pain of the Cancer took her from me yesterday.
I was a smoker but quit 5/6 years ago and wanted her to also but we all have our own vices and that was her only one. She is now my Loving,
guiding light, so please think seriously about quitting for your loved ones sakes if no your own.
.:amen:
Your reaching out at such a raw time and your obvious faith are inspiring. Prayers for God's peace and comfort to you and those touched by her departure.

My sincerest condolences at your loss, may God bless you and give you peace and comfort during this most difficult time.
Have confidence in your faith that she is now in a much, much better place where she will be waiting to see and be with you again someday in the future.

I lost my cousin and best friend to cigarettes just this past February. She was more like a sister than anything.
Several years ago, she had half of one lung removed in treatment of cancer.
Then a years long, painful battle with COPD finally finished her off ... All caused by cigarettes!

Such senseless loss is impossible to understand ... especially when you see the loved ones eyes filled with tears
and souls filled with anguish.

So sorry to hear of your loss. My soul mate went to The Lord nearly 2 years ago. We were high scho sweethearts married at 18 that lasted over 43 years. Please contact me via PM or email we can talk. Tina is constant in my thoughts and will always be in my heart until we meet in glory once more. Grief is different for everyone but the loss of your wife is far and beyond any loss I've encountered. Please seek grief counceling, talk to family and friends. Open invite from me to talk and maybe help you through this difficult process

My heart breaks for you. You and your family will be in my daily prayers. It sounds like you and your wife truly had a very rich full life together and I know that she will always be with you.

I just got back last night from spending a week with my sister and her husband and 17 year old daughter. They just found cancer in her bone marrow in her thigh bone in late May, then they found it started in her stomach and spread throughout her body, now its in most of her organs including a brain tumor they just found last weekend - it wasn't there in late June when they did full body scans. Cancer is a nasty, heartless, merciless thief of a disease. My sister didn't smoke, but cancer runs in our family and she had other health problems that were masking the cancer spread until it was too far along.
