Pocket Pistol???

I've been carrying a Glock 23 for years now and really have no complaints as far as carrying comfort. Most of the time it's an OWB holster in winter months and IWB during warmer months with a T-shirt. But I have had a few times where I wanted to conceal at a higher level but just couldnt due to the size of the gun. I have a Glock 27 but can conceal the 23 just as easy with the right carry rig. I'm looking for something significantly smaller than the 23. Was thinking something along the lines of a Ruger LCP 380 or the little Kahr 380. These are "true" pocket pistols and that's what I want. Something I can throw in a sticky holster while wearing gym shorts and conceal easily. BUT I'd like to know if there is something this small in a 9mm or better yet 40 (which I'm pretty sure there isn't). I only shoot 40 and all my handguns follow suit. So this one deep concealment pistol will be the odd ball out and only a carry piece, not something I'm going to bulk stock ammo for. Any recommendations?? Thanks

I pocket carried a smith J frame for years with no trouble at all and i like the power of .38 over .380. just a thought.

I will second the J frame. I carry mine in a Blackhawk Size 3 pocket holster.

I've been pocket carrying an XDS for a while now and really like it. For gym short carry id look at the Glock 42..

I often pocket carry a kahr pm45. Kahr makes a pm 40.

I usually carry a kahr cm9, a S&W 638, or a Ruger LCP. I like them all.

Similar situation - I chose a Kahr CM9 for pocket carry in a pocket holster. The Kahr does not have a safety, so you do not have to change your presentation from the Glock you are used to. They are high quality and very compact for a 9mm...
