After several tries I settled on a Kahr CW380. It shoots great at close range and carries 6 rounds large enough to stop someone if needed. What I really like is I can put it in a pocket holster and literally forget it's in my shorts or jeans, little to no in print, but I know I have it there if I ever needed. The only thing I dont care for with the glock 42 is the caliber. Only because the cm9 is same size but packs more punch. If you can get the same size gun in either caliber, why go less unless recoil sensitive, elderly, etc.

Update: Got my gun back from Kahr last week. They replaced the barrel and extractor. I've run 200 rounds thru it since, with no issues.

size wise...the diamondback db9 is super light (2 ounces heavier than lcp) a true pocket 9 but there is question to its quality and reliability

the latter is a question you cannot have...

You can't beat the SIG P938 for pocket carry and the way it feels when you shoot it! Lot's of models out there are small but aren't as good to shoot as the P938. Ask anyone that has ever shot and/or owned a P938 and they will agree.

Sold mine. Was never 100% unless it was 124g, including after a trip back to Sig. I have a bunch of 115g usually. Refuse to eat what you are fed here and you have to go. My p238 never hiccups though.
